Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy is the treatment of mental health, emotional, and relationship concerns and behavioral problems by a qualified mental health professional. Factors addressed in therapy include building social and emotional skills, relationships, coping with stressors, managing symptoms, addressing thoughts and behaviors contributing to symptoms, lifestyle factors and more.

  • Therapy is an opportunity for you to share any relational/emotional struggle you are having with a trained professional. Therapy is a safe, confidential, non judgemental environment. We are able to diagnose and treat various mental health struggles and use a research based approach to help find more peace and balance in your life and relationships.

  • The best way to know if therapy is right for you is to try at least one session. You don’t have to have a mental health diagnosis to seek therapy. A huge misconception is that there has to be something “wrong” with you for you to go to therapy. Therapy is for anyone looking to grow. Therapy can help you break out of negative thought or behavior patterns that may be holding you back from being happier or having healthier relationships. You can’t see the picture when you're in the frame. There may be things you are unaware of that a professional may be able to point out.

  • We charge $173 per 50 minute session. The price is $173 regardless of the amount of people attending the session. You are able to use your health savings account (HSA) to pay for sessions.

  • We are currently not on any insurance panels but you can call your insurance company and see if they cover out of network therapy. If they do, we will provide you with documentation to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

  • We can’t force people to change or seek help but we can use therapy as an opportunity to learn better ways to approach a situation. We can’t control what other people say or do but we can control how we choose to respond. Sometimes small changes in the way we approach others can result in larger changes in the future.
